Babies are usually bathed in the hospitals prior returning home. Especially Parents first borns.
I would not recommend bathing your baby especially on the same day as your newborns first session.
Cosmetics used, especially oils, to moisten their flaky skin, do not help.
They make the baby's skin shiny.
Some of the cosmetics may make Baby's skin dry without us, parents, realising.
Some babies still have blood on their hair etc when coming for their session and that's totally normal !
Some babies may still have bruising and their head may still not be shaped due to labour.
My job is to photograph your baby as natural and just as they are !
